The legendary Turboprop Porter from Pilatus, also called "tractor in the skies", is on heavy duty all over the world and now also available as a model aircraft kit from aerobel. A model offering quite a number of interesting features.
We designed the model as light-weight as possible to make it look exactly as the original and in order to allow it to use short airstrips. The big landing flaps also help reduce landing speed.
The model consists of a sturdy structure made of plywood with balsa wood covering. The Pilatus Porter can either be powered by an electric or a combustion engine. As it is of low weight, little power is needed to make it fly the way the original does.
The laser-cut construction kit not only includes the complete structure of the plane but also the landing gear with the necessary wheels but also a landing taildragger. Optionally you can order the decal set "Night flight HB-FKC .

The cabin hood and the side windows are made of extruded plastic and are also included in the kit. You
will furthermore receive with the kit an illustrated assembly guide, detailed construction plans and a CD
with a lot of photos of the original aircraft.
In order that the model aircraft may be transported easily in the trunk of your car, in spite of a wing span of roughly
2 meters (53.15 inches), the tail section can be removed as a complete unit. This is also the case for the
wings which, in addition, can be separated.
