| aerobel launches another exciting product: retractable landing gear of a somewhat different kind. It is electrically driven. The drive consists of a geared motor combined with a threaded spindle.
The angle for lowering and retraction of the landing gear can be chosen freely between 0 and 120 degrees. The construction is entirely made of metal and is therefore extremely robust, making it suitable for model aircrafts up to approx. 15 kg (33 lbs).
The control electronics are designed for operating two or three pairs of wheels and are supplied with all the necessary cables, ready for mounting. The electronics include a mechanism which activates an automatic lowering of the gear if the battery pack goes below the minimum voltage required for operation.
At the present time, aerobel does not supply the shock struts and wheels from its own production. For every model aircraft you need one electronics unit which can operate up to three Drive units.
